'L-sit' to 'Pike-press Handstand'
Press HS & Stalder press
•
41s
THE WHAT & HOW:
An integrated SAS/S context which transitions from a DOWNWARD-pushing 'L-sit', through the HORIZONTAL arc of a "piked" planche-form, finishing with an OVERHEAD ‘Pike-press’ into the Handstand form… and then returning again.
It brings the ‘low-press’ aspect into the ‘Pike press-HS’ skill, the latter of which should be consistently available before opening the ‘L-sit’ integration as a project. For former, i.e. ‘low-press’, is made easier by maintaining the intention of maximal COMPRESSION throughout, PULLING the straight legs & torso toward one another & increasing the mechanical advantage.
