Timing, rhythm, and coordination
•
3m 57s
THE WHAT:
Fundamental arm coordinations to be practiced until proficient. They represent patterns (8's, waves... circles, spirals, arcs...) which are found in all movement, although in themselves are nothing more than isolated patterns. By developing an embodied understanding of these patterns you can also extrapolate to the rest of the body, and ultimately in movement through space and levels. Video contents:
0:05 - Integrating figure 8's (syn & unsync)
1:36 - Integrating waves (syn & unsync)
2:56 - Integrating waves & figure-8's (syn & unsync)
MILESTONE: 3 minutes Mixing figure 8's & waves (sync AND unsync), no errors
