Seated & standing ‘pike-pulsing’
Lower-body elasticity
•
1m 49s
THE WHAT:
Simple contexts for providing stimulus to develop the elasticity & range of the posterior chain in pike/front-folded positions. Not only do these ranges represent what might be called a "fundamental" human-range (i.e. being able to reach forward & touch the ground, hence the age-old flexibility-measure of being able to touch the toes), movement potential significantly increases in line with its ongoing development.
RESOURCE CONTENTS:
0:04 - Standing pike-pulsing (can also be performed as a ‘passive-stretch’)
0:53 - Seated pike-pulsing (can also be performed as a ‘passive-stretch’)
1:29 - Standing pike-compression isometric
