XHT shapes 2 (floating table-supports)
Ground-acro shapes & synergies

THE WHAT & HOW:
These “floating” XHT variations develop a secondary layer of referent configuration work, where one foot is elevated (chair/bench/partner support at roughly shoulder height) while the system is organised through a single supported base. The structure remains ipsilateral in setup, but shifts between open and closed positional organisation through the free leg.
In the open position, the body forms a long integrated line from the support arm through the trunk into the extended leg, expressing a continuous contralateral-like pathway. In the closed position, the free leg crosses the body, compressing the structure and reflecting an exit-oriented configuration. Between these, the system passes through a key transitional zone as seen in 'Chapeu de Couro' and other unilateral entrance/exit XHT acrobatic skills.
With the elevation set at shoulder height, the task reinforces structural integrity through the support side, allowing force to transmit from the grounded leg through the whole system while maintaining alignment. This illuminates the load-bearing line and improves awareness of force travel under asymmetrical conditions.
The free leg functions as a floating elastic indicator, giving feedback on how the system reorganises between open and closed states and refining control of mid-range transitions under load.
Overall, this strengthens the ability to maintain organisation through a single support while shifting dynamically between expanded and compressed configurations, directly improving XHT integrity in acrobatic transitions involving direction changes, inversion pathways, and exits.

Explosive hip-thrust (XHT) synergies
THE WHAT:
The explosive hip-thrust (XHT) is a fundamental synergy underlying many ground-acrobatic forms that require vertical hip projection. It builds directly on the referent configurations (zero-point shapes) developed in the isometric table-hold work: https://youtu.be/3-gk48EgABYResource c...
