Finishing BAS ring-routines in 'IH' (through 'BAp')
'Rings' sequences & routines

2m 42s
THE WHAT:
These sequences demonstrate a range of possibilities for working ABOVE the rings (predominantly BENT-arm strength/BAS-oriented) before transitioning back BELOW the rings through a transition into ‘IH’, from where a further STRAIGHT-arm strength/SAS) routine can be added. Notably, all these routine examples contain the ‘BAs’ form transitioning back to ring-support through the ‘BAp’.
This is because the MAXIMALLY-controlled transition through ‘BAp’ is extremely valuable in conditioning the elbow-tendons for further developmental skills, such as the ‘Rings BACKWARD-roll’, a rather uniquely-blended push/pull stimulus only simulated in other isolated contexts such as the ‘Korean-dip’ and ‘Pelican-curl’.
RESOURCE CONTENTS:
0:05 - 'BAs' and 'BAp' to ring-support & 'IH' (tuck-variation)
0:38 - BAs' and 'BAp' to ring-support & 'IH' (pike-variation)
0:58 - Forward-roll to 'BAs', exit through 'BAp'' into 'IH'
1:30 - Muscle-up ('MU') to 'BAs' & 'BAp' exit to 'IH'
1:54 - 'MU' & forward-roll to 'BAs', 'BAp' exit to 'IH'

BAS & SAS rings-routine 'intermediate' 1
THE WHAT:
This rings-routine expresses capacities & skills developed as dedicated BAS/SAS projects to themselves within an integrated bent-& straight-arm strength (BAS/SAS) sequence. It is useful as a “bang for buck” maintenance & conditioning routine, keeping complexity low and focusing on expre...
