'Travelling' Sissy to QDR exit variations

THE WHAT & HOW:
From its practice as a capacity-development tool, the ‘Sissy squat’ ultimately becomes a floor-entry pattern linking together the worlds of standing, and the world of quadrupedal movement, here continuing the pattern with the fundamental ‘Role’ and ‘QDR’ in a potentially never-ending ‘groundwork’ sequence which takes the body travelling through space.
Whilst there is potential here to integrate further by adding extra movement or simply using it as a floor-entrance pattern from which to improvise for time, for the practitioner first linking these patterns together there is already a lot to practice, notably with regards to establishing optimal structure on the QDR elbow-support, that this is initially deserving of much investment.

Locomotion concept: 'Levels in space'
THE WHAT:
Concepts & principles are ultimately much more powerful & far-reaching than singular ideas. In the same way, thinking of locomotion from the perspective of 'levels' in space allows the practitioner to see commonalities within certain movement patterns, rather than simply all as separate... -
Dragon -> Lizard -> (bent-arm) Scorpi...
THE WHAT:
An integrated bipedal-to-quadrupedal locomotion sequence consisting of the fundamental 'Dragon squat', 'Lizard crawl', 'Scorpion tail' and 'Role. Bringing these patterns together into combination highlights the innate connectivity between the two locomotive worlds (i.e. bi-/quadrupedal)... -
Gallop -> 'Pu-bu' -> Dragon -> Lizard...
THE WHAT:
An integrated quadrupedal-to-bipedal & back to quadrupedal locomotion sequence consisting of the fundamental ‘Gallop’, the ‘Step-behind’ integration (consisting of the ‘Pu-bu’ and “stepping behind” into the 'Dragon squat', 'Lizard crawl', 'Scorpion tail' and 'Role.Bringing these patte...
