THE WHAT:
An extended sequence consisting of four different locomotion patterns, each of them integrations to themselves. The character of this sequence is that of gradually entering into the floor with a consistent onward-moving momentum, and back out again, bipedally through ‘levels’ in space: beginning from standing, it shifts into of ‘low-gait’, then lower again into the world of squat & transitioning directly into seated through the unwinding ‘Dragon-squat’. After some floor-contact travelling, a simple transition through 'Toe-rock’ sees it return to squat position and the vast movement optionality which this fundamental 'zero-point’ brings.

Locomotion concept: 'Levels in space'
THE WHAT:
Concepts & principles are ultimately much more powerful & far-reaching than singular ideas. In the same way, thinking of locomotion from the perspective of 'levels' in space allows the practitioner to see commonalities within certain movement patterns, rather than simply all as separate... -
Dragon -> Lizard -> (bent-arm) Scorpi...
THE WHAT:
An integrated bipedal-to-quadrupedal locomotion sequence consisting of the fundamental 'Dragon squat', 'Lizard crawl', 'Scorpion tail' and 'Role. Bringing these patterns together into combination highlights the innate connectivity between the two locomotive worlds (i.e. bi-/quadrupedal)... -
Gallop -> 'Pu-bu' -> Dragon -> Lizard...
THE WHAT:
An integrated quadrupedal-to-bipedal & back to quadrupedal locomotion sequence consisting of the fundamental ‘Gallop’, the ‘Step-behind’ integration (consisting of the ‘Pu-bu’ and “stepping behind” into the 'Dragon squat', 'Lizard crawl', 'Scorpion tail' and 'Role.Bringing these patte...
