THE WHAT:
A wall-supported alignment & balance context which initiates from a STRAIGHT-line, albeit leaning against the wall in a more diagonal position. This requires the hands to be placed slightly further from the wall than in standard 'wall-facing' alignment so that there is some gravitational feedback.

Starting from a 'diagonal' line allows for the practice of optimally "stacking" the shoulders & hips above the wrists, developing sensitivity both toward optimal vertical-alignment as well as the micro-patterning (shifting of the shoulders, posterior pelvic-tilt, 'PPT', locking of the knees...).
It must be emphasised, then, that this is the main focus of the work here -COMING toward balance by the optimal STACKING of the shoulders/hips, and ultimately the feet, in vertical alignment. Avoid rushing to find balance - if your structure is optimally stacked, balance will find YOU.
Record and review your form and work on the most common checkpoints outlined in the resource (they are universal to all handstand forms). Stay diligent with everything from the weight in the HEEL of the hands to true "lockout" of the knees. It is an ongoing experiment - a process of trial and error - individual to each practitioner.
