Handstand shoulder taps
SASS push (vertical & horizontal)
•
1m 23s
THE WHAT:
A fundamental straight-arm scapular-strength (SASS) & conditioning drill performed in inverted handstand position. Rather than simply "muscling" your way through the reps, bring awareness to your structure according to the concept of WEIGHT-SHIFTING from arm-to-arm (this is necessary to be able to remove one of them).
Not only does this allow for capacity development of the directed OVERHEAD 1-arm push, but also builds an EMBODIED sense of having your centre of mass (around the pelvis) STACKED in alignment over your shoulder & hand.
