The 'Cast Walk'
SAS push (horizontal)

THE WHAT:
The 'Cast Walk' is a straight-arm strength (SAS) development context in which the strength-curve is maximal in the LAST 90-degrees (90-180) of arm-flexion (i.e. arms straight out in front, until overhead). This makes it particularly valuable in developing the strength of straight-arm, OVERHEAD pressing movements, such as 'Press handstand' variations.
As such, it can also complement the development of SAS pressing in combination with more horizontal-push contexts (i.e. planche-development contexts), ones in which the FIRST 90-degrees (i.e. 0-90) of arm flexion is primarily loaded.
