Tuck-lever ring-row
BAS pull (horizontal)
•
50s
THE WHAT
A high-intensity, horizontal-pulling form developing & maintaining both straight & bent-arm strength in that it is performed in the ‘Tuck front-lever’ form, with full bodyweight. It is the logical next-step in development of raw, horizontal-pulling strength once proficiency has developed in both the straight-arm ‘Front-lever’ form and the bent-arm, ‘Ring-row’ with a deficit incline.
Whilst representing a significant milestone in horizontal-pulling development, intensity can, of course, be increased further simply by working with a more controlled tempo (e.g. [1110]) rather than an expressive execution, or reducing the mechanical advantage by “opening” the tuck toward a more advanced form.
